I know many of you don’t plan for a luxurious stay while visiting to this beautiful city still I would suggest you to have a comfy stay at gorgeous Hooky Cottage situated at the northern part of Cotswolds.

The cottage has a long history and has a wealth of period features that give it real character. Naturally the thatch is very appealing (and rare!), but the beams, wood burning stove and Cotswold stone walls give the cottage a real homely, cosy feel that sets it apart from many others. The cottage is ideal for two, but can easily accommodate an extra person as there is a second bedroom.

The owners have undertaken some recent updates and these give it a welcoming feel, mixing ‘period’ and ‘modern’ in a tasteful way. There is a small patio area to the rear along with a separate south facing garden area. With some great pubs moments away and proximity to superb walks on your doorstep, this is an ideal ‘rural retreat’ for a couple or couple with a young child.

From the back door there is a small courtyard (not enclosed) which has a small table and chairs, this leads to the outhouse. Additionally there is a separate grassed garden area, south facing, with table and chairs which is about 20 paces from the back door. Due to the quirks of old arrangements, the two parts of the garden are disconnected!!
